Professional Trainer
Sydney Stephenson
Sydney is a New Orleans native who has been riding since the age of seven. A lifelong “barn rat,” she grew up immersed in the hunter-jumper world, developing the horsemanship, work ethic, and passion that continue to shape her career today.
As a junior rider, Sydney competed extensively on the rated circuit and advanced to the 1.30m jumper divisions. Alongside her horse, Oliver With a Twist, she qualified for the Zone Jumper Team Championships twice and earned an overall championship title during her first appearance.
While earning her degree in Animal Sciences at Auburn University, Sydney continued training and riding daily. What started as helping a few riders soon grew into Crown Point Equestrian.
During her senior year, Sydney leased a barn in Lee County, Alabama, where she built a program dedicated to developing horses and riders for success at local and A-rated shows. Today, she remains committed to helping both horses and clients reach their full potential through consistency, hard work, and quality horsemanship.
The Barn: Excellence in Every Detail
Crown Point Equestrian is operated out of Wild Oak Farm in Lee County, Alabama, located just 15 minutes from Auburn University on a 34-acre farm. We have a 12-stall barn and pasture board for an additional 8 horses. We offer full service board including nightly turnout, customized diets with feedings three times daily, indoor wash racks with hot and cold water, and temperature controlled tack room.
